I'm the Executive Director of Central Indiana Cycling, and I was certified by the League of American Bicyclists as a League Cycling Instructor in 2013. After getting certified, I taught bike safety courses around my day job as an engineer. Later, I used that bicycle educator certification professionally with a community bike shop in support of youth and adult bicycle classes (2015-2022). I then taught youth and adult learn-to-ride classes while working at Bicycle Garage Indy (2023-2025). Now in my role at Central IN Cycling, I'm excited to get more bicycle educators and ride leaders trained and certified. Bicycle educators have an important role in our community, getting more folks on bikes - safely.
